Start date: Sep 1, 2014,
End date: Aug 31, 2016
PROJECT
FINISHED
Our school is located in the outskirts of Madrid, in a village that has suffered a rapid population growth in the last decade. There is a great number of students who have severe difficulties in continuing or finishing their studies.
The number and profile of the students for whom we apply the project for is as follows: 8 students from Accountancy Management Medium Level Vocational Training (bilingual) aged around 18 years-old.
We wish our students to do volunteer internships in companies related to Accountancy Management.
We aim to:
-Prevent dropping out of school.
-Give access to the labour market to our students.
-Encourage the interest in learning new languages and, in particular, English.
-Motivate our students to learn and live in other European countries.
-Help our students approach to business environment.
The internship will consist of a one-month-stay in Italy for 8 students from Medium Level Vocational Training in Accountancy Management. The stay will be divided in two years. 4 students in July 2014 and 4 other students in July 2015.
The internship will have a great impact on the whole school community not only in the school area but also in the surrounding area.
We aim to promote this project to:
-The school community where our school is located in.
-The school community from adjoining area.
-Castilla-La Mancha Vocational Training schools that are part of Dual V.T. (i.e., students who do an internship and study at the same time).
-Castilla-La Mancha Regional Ministry of Education through Dual Vocational Training project.
-And, finally, CEO-CEPYME (Small & Medium Enterprises Business Organization) of Guadalajara. We have had a tight collaboration with them since 2013 with the aim of promoting Vocational Training within different companies.
We consider that, at an international level, the project is going to let us establish long-term relationships with our host partners and carry out future projects by means of this or other projects included in Erasmus + programme.
