FINISHED
Turned in 2010 into European School, „Constantin Cantacuzino” National College offers its students the chance to achieve performance in the process of learning, to value their own personal skills, shaping them as autonomous personality. A constant feature of this institution is the fact that its aim, as a school, is the teachers’ training and professional development, as a stage towards our students’ success. Teachers succeed in blending in a constructive way the initial training with the continuous one, an expression of permanent education, being engaged in acquiring new didactic skills. The project ,,Improving teaching process by innovative methods and parents collaboration" aims at the increasing of the quality of the educational process by motivating students to actively get involved in all forms of education. As a consequence of the SWOT analysis, we have noticed that in order to motivate students we need human resources development in order to approach the syllabus in an innovating way, to integrate TIC in the teaching process and in the process of collaboration with the family as to improve the quality of the teaching process. Consequently, the project will have an impact on the teachers, students, parents, institution and the local community as well. The target group involves 15 teachers who participate in all the training courses ( France, Spain, Portugal) and will improve their basic skills and the transversal skills of teaching, their objective, motivating and modern evaluation skills, their linguistic skills and they will discover new methods and techniques of boosting students’ motivation, and of integrating the students with special needs. We will have access to information, methods and teaching techniques for a permanent education, in order to arouse students’ curiosity in a digital class which keeps up with the technology, the effect being the increasing of the students’ level of schooling and the successful promotion at the national and European testing. All these will help us implement a qualitative educational process, relying on the students’ differentiated treatment and their motivation to learn actively, consciously, qualitatively, permanently, in a partnership with the parents. Afterwards all the results from all types of evaluation will improve. The main activities which will take place during the project are: the establishment of the project team, the information, the participants’ selection, the signing of the contracts, the preparation for the training courses and their progress, the financial activity, the controlling process, the dissemination, the evaluation and the usage of the innovations. The progress of the project will lead to the boosting of the quality of the activities which take place in the institution at a didactic and managerial level. Using the acquired skills the teachers will manage to improve their teaching process, to carry on transdisciplinary activities, meant to develop students’ creative thinking, the usage of the IT resources in order to personally develop, to motivate and to increase the interest in learning. We would like through this project to take advantage of the teaching-information process, the exchange of good practices, the successful implementation in the educational process by other European educational systems, so as to use efficiently the new methods and the TIC techniques to raise to European standards the conscription of our institution. We also want to involve parents in the educational process.Participants in each training course will be permanently checked by the project coordinator and by the course provider which will offer, after the final evaluation, participation certificates and Europass certificates.TThe results of the project aim at the following things: 15 Europass certificates, the project portfolio, the project journal, questionnaires for identifying the needs, for satisfaction, 50 demonstrative lessons, 25 lectureships with parents. The trained teachers will acquire abilities that will lead to the development of some new team work methods, of TIC integration in the educational process, the improvement of the linguistic and cultural skills, the improvement of the abilities to create creative, innovative didactic approaches based on the student, of the accomplishment of some workshops and training courses for the other teachers, the students and their parents. With the help of the presentations and information offered in the local press and through local televisions, at symposiums, conferences, the project will have an impact on the other schools from the county, disseminations being organized permanently. The evaluation of the project will be permanent by using questionnaires, interviews, the evaluation of the CVs’ participants and their intention letters, daily reports, intermediary and final ones, minutes from the meetings and Delphi method.
