Start date: Sep 14, 2011, End date: Sep 13, 2013 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Lithuanian-Belarusian project territory consists of large forested plots, open areas, rivers, lakes and marsh-peat complexes which have been exposed in the recent years to frequent and severe natural and man-made disasters. Expected Results: The project will result in the increased fire fight prevention and coordination though conduction of 1 full scale field exercise of project partners professionals, elaboration of environmental disaster response manual for BY and LT fire fighting professionals, conducting 2 trainings and 4 best practice exchange seminars for fire fighting professionals, promotion of environmental awareness among inhabitants and operating companies.
