The project was launched to improve the road infrastructure between Lithuania and Poland. Relations between the partners became more intensive during the last years, especially, in the field of tourism. Unfortunately, insufficient development of roads is one of the main obstacles for the regions development, therefore, the core activity of the project was the reconstruction of 6 roads. Expected Results: The main benefits of the project are related to the improvement of traffic conditions, decreased travelling time, and, finally, increased accessibility to the borderline area. This allows local inhabitants to have better living conditions and to make the area more attractive to foreign tourists. The project was finalized with the closing conference, during which the results of the project and future cooperation possibilities were discussed.
