The project aims at contributing to the advanced accessibility and connectivity of Latvian-Belarusian border areas by improving neighbours road leading to the SBC point Kaplava-Plusi on both sides of the border and by raising knowledge of local inhabitants of 11 border municipalities (8 in Latvia and 3 in Belarus) on applying for simplified border crossing procedure. Expected Results: accessibility and connectivity of Latvian-Belarusian border areas will be improved; 2 sections of the road leading to the SBC point Kaplava-Plusi on both sides of the border will be reconstructed;2 technical equipment sets for daily work of SBC point Kaplava-Plusi will be purchased; level of knowledge of local inhabitants of 11 border municipalities about the SBC procedure will be increased; 2 border seminars for staff of border municipalities will be organized; various marketing materials about SBC procedures in Latvian and Russian languages will be published and disseminated.
