The project '' Impress me '' will be implemented from 01.08.2015 to 31.12.2015. while the project activity will take place in the period from 05.09.2015 to 13.09.2015 in the town of Solin.Various workshops and activities will enable the development of skills related to self esteem, tolerance and self-evaluation, active citizenship. Furthermore, the project activity will positively affect better understanding of cultural diversity, develop solidarity and promote the fundamental values of the EU. The project '' Impress me '' will strengthen the values and attitudes of the participants according to their possibilities.Integrational and intercultural dimension and participants staying at the hosts house will further strengthen the dimension of unity, tolerance and the promotion of EU values. Also, using many places to conduct workshops such as: Gospin otok, Salona, amphitheater, Queen Helen's Primary School, river Jadro, the city council of Solin, Mosor further enhance the impact of the project on the local community, which would, that way, become more sensitive and integrated into project implementation. From it's very beginning this project has been supported by the mayor of Solin, principals of elementary schools of Solin, as well as crime prevention Council of Solin.The project '' Impress me '' has a goal to make 32 young people from Slovenia, Czech Republic, Romania and Croatian adopt and acqiure the transversal skills that will empower them as individuals and encourage proactive approach in the local community, the implementation of regular programs, according to project tasks and initiatives, and in solving future life and business tasks in the local community.During this project participants will acqiure transversal skills and knowledge related to personal PR, such as: CV writing, presentation skills, verbal and nonverbal communication, time management, journal article writing, giving interviews, negotiating skills. Also with skills such as critical thinking, taking initiative, communication, use of foreign languages, mobilizing the overall knowledge, problem solving, teamwork and competence in social processes - skills that are relevant to individuals. Participants will get to know how the civil society functions in the partner countries. They will develop jointly base of possible future projects as well as annual education plans in their own organizations. They will acqiure competencies such as production of promotional videos, leaflets, photo albums, composing and making project song. They will adopt the healthy living habits of staying outdoors, jogging, hiking, fitness and will also, by their volunteer engagement, realize humanitarian campaign to raise funds for the purchase of equipment for the pediatric department of Medical Clinic Firule in Split.The project '' Impress me'' will directly encourage young people to active participation in their organizations in the preparation of annual education plans for their members and also to proactive approach in local communities implementing the projects and initiatives and designing workshop.Participants will prepare themselves educational materials: leaflets (800) e-flyer, video and power point presentation, project logo. All listed activities will be helpfull to the participants in the implementation phase of thematic workshops, and later in further dissemination of project results according to dissemination and exploitation plans, through Scout Network, Network for Youth.
