This project stems from the analysis of the current world economic context and particularly that of the crossborder area - as well as a more targeted study of the socio-economic context in the light of the changes currently afoot and of the past experiences of the project implementing partner in the sector of import-export. It was the past experiences in particular that highlighted the interest expressed by enterprises towards the figures of the Import-Export Expert, possessing a good level of technicalcommercial expertise. In this professional role, particularly appreciated skills are the knowledge of English and German, the ability to manage orders and foreign customers relations, the ability to manage foreign trading operations (fiscal, insurance, customs, transport issues), specific marketing knowledge, familiarity with new international payment methods, etc. This course aims to provide the participants with the skills required to promote and supervise trade relations with clients and suppliers across the border, from third countries within and outside the EU, managing orders, planning transport, managing deliveries, with a solid knowledge of the socio-economic context and of the changes under way. The course, consisting of didactic classroom activities and of an internship period, is open to unemployed persons, who possess a secondary education degree and reside in the eligible Programme area.
