IMPLEMENTATION OF THE IMATRA–SVETOGORSK PILOT PROJECTS
The project maximizes the opportunities of the Russian border in industrial policy, co-operation between authorities, R&D and in the co-operation of the third sector.The main aim is to form an EU-model example of the Imatra-Svetogorsk co-operation on the co-operation between the EU and Russia. The aim is also to further and develop the operation of the border crossing point and co-operation between the twin cities by creating plans, e.g. for 10´15 spearhead projects and by creating WWW pages.
