The project provided assistance in forming the bases for a spatial developmentpartnership network in the Hungarian-Romanian cross-border region, which canserve as an intellectual and professional basis for future cross-border cooperation.As a result of the project, a database was produced from strategic developmentdocuments and plans available in the Hungarian and Romanian regions. Followinga review thereof, special areas with cross-border relevance were identified. Later on,common development project ideas were produced by focusing on the special areasselected. One of them was a series of training courses in the course of which lecturerspresented on the topics of partnership building, project management, and designmethods to Romanian colleagues.
