The EVS project "Impact Through Opportunity - EVS within Social Entrepreneru Corps" will take place in Nicaragua in non-profit entity of with local and international social ëntreprenerus for 12 months, where the volunteer will start the service in autumn 2011.. It iş ţhş cooperation between the international foundation operating in Nicaragua and regional NGO support center in Latvia, as the symbolic partnership between European Union and Central America, in generally.The themes of the EVS project are rural development and development cooperation, and will directly contribute to the Youth in Action priorities such as volunteering youth unemployement, inclusive groweth, creativity and entrepreneurship. It shows 2 levels of the process involved;1) The Latvian volunteer will have the EVS project with Social Entrepreneur Corps for rural development, by promoting active civic participation, developing innovative activities and tools, fighting with youth unemployement in rural areas and giving the impact on intercultural exchange with the host organization and local community. The volunteer will have a field work in various sites of the country with local coordinators to create social and economic possibilities, actions and development.2) On the other hand her service will contribute to the development cooperation among NGOs, foundations and institutions within the region and between European Union and Central America. The European dimansion will be brought up as raising local awareness on European issues and cooperation among regions.
