The municipality of Mislata and along with the most active youth of the town, have found the need to improve channels of communication between young people and politicians, as well as the need for collaboration in the design of local policies (not just youth, but all - Health , Sports, Jobs , Culture, Finance ... ). So we decided to take the initiative and suggest a range of activities to improve the mechanisms for structured dialogue in our municipality. Result of this project , we will write the MUNICIPAL YOUTH PLAN. For a whole year , with the " IMAGINA MISLATA . Diàleg JOVE " project we will conduct activities every month to analyze and reinvent municipal policies in each of the council areas. Activities will be open to all and the youth of the town and llinked to each one of the subjects. We will work on 8 key areas of the youth policies : Mobility, Health , Sports, Jobs , Culture, Relationship management , citizen participation and Equality. The participants in the project will be the political council (councillors and major), civil servants and professionals of each of the different areas and all young people who want to participate ( we estimate a range of about 300 young people from 13 to 30 years). The activities we will mainly take place in our town, but also organize two meetings in a youth hostel for the midterm and final evaluation. The methodology used in the project will be mainly working meetings in small groups , workshops, interviews and focus groups of debate. We will also apply ICT to maximize range in the population through some contests and activities leveraging mobile networks and social networks. The expected outcome of this project is a significant increase in participation and the proximity of municipal management young people. The conclusions of the different working groups will be published and used for exploitation at different levels.
