Il CASONE: volunteering for active and sustainable society is a voluntary service project that involve 3 countries Italy, France and Finland. It last 8 months of activity an will be an opportunity for 2 volunteers.The project take place in Anticoli Corrado, a small village on a hill close to Rome, in Aniene Valley Natural Park.It is a rural area where are relevant historical and natural heritages. There, the hosting organization is managing a project local development to enhance this patrimon.The project aim are the valorization of heritage, to spead out the safeguard culture and the exploitation of common goods.Il CASONE is a educational body addressed to children, youth and adults to raise awareness about environmental issues.The volunteers will become part of the educational team and will be involved in the ideation, planning and realization of workshops, events and become active member of this project.The project long for diffuse a new culture of local cooperation between stakeholders, social cohesion, the practice and the implementation of educational action and project to approach youth rediscovering nature, outdoor activities, active citizenship, volunteering and become actors of a change in term of life style and sustainable choices. In the long term we expect to make raise a new generation of citizens more aware of social values, respectful of public and common heritages, with a regard to environmental protection, active memeber of a common change base of a turning model of life styles.
