Experiment 45 municipalities of new tools for efficient energy management for Experiencing the common European Energy Award ® eea which is applied over 200 municipalities in Switzerland (over 400 municipalities in Europe). Create a network of experience and comparison between Swiss and Italian municipalities to exchange experiences, measures and instruments for energy efficiency and renewable energy use. The project also aims to support the municipalities in the implementation phase of the interventions through research funding agreements and collaborations with Energy Service Company. The application of model will also assess the benefits of environmental considerations and to study mechanisms and standardized tools for assessment of emissions and their possible commercialization. / Sperimentare su 45 Comuni nuovi strumenti per la gestione efficiente dell'energia per i Comuni sperimentando la european energy award eea® che e applicato il oltre 200 Comuni in Svizzera (oltre 400 Comuni in Europa). Creare una rete di esperienze e confronto tra i Comuni Svizzeri e quelli italiani per uno scambio di esperienze, misure e strumenti innovativi per l'efficienza energetica e l'utilizzo delle energie rinnovabili. Il progetto si propone inoltre di supportare i Comuni nella fase di realizzazione degli interventi attraverso la ricerca di finanziamenti, accordi e collaborazioni con Energy Service Company . L'applicazione del modello permettera inoltre di valutare i benefici di ordine ambientale e di studiare meccanismi e strumenti standardizzati per la valutazione delle emissioni e per una loro possibile commercializzazione. Achievements: The EEA project (European Energy Award®) enabled municipalities to take advantage of the opportunities offered by renewable energy sources, such as photovoltaic and solar heating systems, for schools, retirement houses, sport facilities, and other public buildings. The project involved 41 municipalities in Italy (Piemonte and Valle d'Aosta) and 22 municipalities in Switzerland (Canton Ticino). After 3 years of work, the project ended up awarding the most virtuous municipalities with the European Energy Award® Certification.
