IES Don Bosco, Vocational Education and Training High School ( Albacete) . Mobility Project Initial Vocational Training, IVT
1 - . CONTEXT
The IES Don Bosco is one of the schools with more students within VET programmes in Castile -La Mancha (twelve training cycles and 716 vocational students ) .
After participating in the Erasmus program for students of Higher Studies between 2009 and 2013 , and get the Erasmus Charter ECHE 2014-2020, we launch this comprehensive project for the mobility of IVT students, integrating our four Professional Families . The mobilities will be developed in two countries from the European Union, which are complementary and interesting to our project (Malta and Germany).
2 - . PARTICIPANTS .
- Nine IVT students belonging to four Professional Families ( Maintenance and Production Services , Mechanical Manufacturing , Electrical & Electronics , Vehicle Maintenance Self-propelled )
- A teacher of the Department of Electrical - Electronics.
3 - . ACTIVITIES
ACTIVITY 1: Student mobility for placements .
- Destination Malta ( IZI socio Ltd ): 2 Electrotechnics students and 1 Industrial Maintenance student.
- Destination Erfurt , Germany ( partner ECCE-Erfurt ) : 2 Electrotechnics students.
ACTIVITY 2: Students mobility for training and / or practice in vocational training schools
- Destination Mühlacker , Germany ( partner : Institute Ferdinand-von-Steinbess-Schule, FvSS - Mühlacker and associated companies) : 2 Mechanical Manufacturing students and 2 Vehicle Electromechanics students .
ACTIVITY 3 : Staff mobility for training (observation of good practice or "job shadowing ").
- Destination Erfurt , Germany ( partner ECCE-Erfurt) : FP a professor of the department of Electrical - Electronics.
4 - . METHODOLOGY USED TO CARRY OUT THE PROJECT
- Definition of the VET project for intermediate level IVT as one of the objectives of the Erasmus Charter ECHE our center.
- Finding partners that complement getting offer quality practices for our four Professionals and deepening language learning in different contexts .
- Using personal meetings with our partners as the first search tool ( Study Visits , international educational meetings ) .
- Adapting our experience in the design of this European project programs.
5 - . DESCRIPTION AND IMPACT EXPECTED RESULTS
- Completing the academic formation of our students.
- Improving the professional , linguistic and personal autonomy of these skills , increasing their employability.
- Promoting the use of Europass European instruments .
- To raise awareness and understanding towards European multiculturalism.
- Move to our educational enhancements in training and testing the effectiveness of our training and management .
- Building partnerships with organizations and companies from other countries.
- Sharing our experience in our environment and move to other areas (regional, national, international) .
. 6 - LONG-TERM BENEFITS
- For participating students : improving their chances of employment.
- For the High School : incorporating improvements in educational programming and management processes of European programs, improving the image of the center, greater motivation for our students , building relationships that may be permanent with other European entities.
- For partners : possibility of stable collaborations with other Spanish institutions through our experience.
- For our immediate environment : improvements in the employability of young people, and therefore social cohesion.
