This project is the result of an increasingly tighter links between modern technology and everyday tasks. For many NGOs online communication plays a key role in attracting participants and informing potential customers about your business. The project idea was created as a resultant problems in the organization of work related to the area of IT in the organization, which cleared up while working on a previous project of ICT ABC (in November 2014) during which we worked on different tools and their use in activities of NGOs. The project was about carrying workshops in different areas. During the talks was asked, what if we go to the next level discussions about the use of IT in NGOs? What if you could not tell where to click, but why should this application be used in the NGO? The project aims to: - Increase the professionalism of networking with NGOs by training participants and preparing for the implementation of the Technology Plan using the tools of Project Management methodologies; - Provide professional approach to IT management from business to the area of NGOs; - Transfer the best practices of global IT companies and their implementation to environments of NGOs. The project was attended by seven partner organizations. Partners were selected by parity, not only for geographical reasons, but also because of the earlier work. The participants were 16 people belonging to the boards of organizations or responsible for project management of partners. They were the people associated with the organization who are willing to learn and open to new methods and tools which could implemented in their organizations. Participation in training is the answer to their need for increased competence in the field of new technologies and introduce them to more efficient management and increase the visibility of the business. With the project management methodology-based Project Management Primer training complying with the PMO we managed to create real Technology Plan. As part of the use of the PMP we discussed basics of project management environments using a combination of NGOs with the best practices of project management in IT companies. Blocks on the Technology Plan and the Project Management were carried out by person connected to global IT company and NGO worker having the necessary qualifications and experience. Together with experts, participants will learn how to prepare, define, plan, manage closing of the project. Simple, interactive activities and an example of how a project plan can help to use acquired knowledge and experience after completing the training. Bringing together organizations from EU countries and outside the EU, we will be able to spread the idea of the development plans of Technology and pay attention to its significance. In the long term we can show the effectiveness of such a plan and to encourage the implementation of such a strategy for their organization.
