NGO V.I.A.C. - Institute for Youth support and development was decided for hosting two foreign volunteers (German, Spain) for 12 months for the third time. The main aim of the project was through the hosting foreign volunteers breaking down prejudices and stereotypes to foreigners in the region. Next aim was motivate young people in the Orava region to participate in European Mobility. Activities of the volunteers had two parts . The first part was the work with children and youngsters, which were realized with partner schools, center of leisure time Námestovo, comunity center Tvrdošín or by themselves. The second part of the activities were implemented in office V.I.A.C. The volunteers were involved in the management of the organization's website, preapartion of promotion materials, to routine administrative help and preparation of various workshops. We believe that the meetings local youth with EVS volunteers degrade their prejudices and stereotypes against people from abroad. And we hope the EVS volunteers will motivate young people to engage in EVS and other international activities .
