Project develops practical methodologies, approaches and tools for teaching enhanced ICT-skills; information search, gathering, evaluation, presentation, problem solving, team working, project working. Aims of the project are: (1) To define the enhanced ICT-skills and to study of the most active learning methods that can be applied for acquisition of enhanced ITC-skills. (2) To develop a methodological handbook of practical methods for teacher trainers and teachers, tools and instruments for enhanced ICT training, about teaching and acquisition of enhanced ICT-skills through training them in practice of designing and developing meaningful and motivational authentic learning tasks for the process of the skills acquisition. (3) To design and develop a sample curriculum for a series of teacher training courses aimed at adoption of the methodology and acquisition of competencies by the teachers to teach the identified enhanced ICT-skills with the help of the teachers’ handbook. (4) To pilot the training of teachers of participating countries and to modify the curriculum and handbook according to feedback. The project will create virtual learning centres in partner countries for continuous teacher support and training, containing multilingual teaching material. Dissemination of results and information is carried out nationally by project network to ICT-teachers and educators, education policy makers, European teaching and research communities beyond the partner network.
