Start date: Sep 1, 2016, End date: Aug 31, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

This project fits within the wider internationalization and innovation scenario that schools are asked to implement according to the guidelines drawn by the law 107/2015 and contextualized for technological innovation in the National Plan for a Digital School. The Ufficio Scolastico Regionale (Regional Education Authority) of Puglia, through this project proposal, intends to promote and coordinate internationalization activities whose aim to further develop, in a system-wide scenario, cooperation and exchange with agencies and schools in other EU countries, as well as to establish intervention models for learning and teaching connected to the use of ICT in different subject areas.Furthermore, thanks to this project, the USR Puglia and the school consortium agree to start a system-wide internationalization path which is not linked to a single exemplary experience, but to a strategic vision which can effectively impact the innovation processes of schools and support them in an efficient, repeatable and transferable way. With reference to these goals, the mobility experiences proposed to the digital leaders shall cover different European contexts in order to trigger processes with short-term impact at the micro-level in each school of the consortium, and long-term impact on all the schools of the region.Indeed it is commonly agreed that "The digital world is not just about machines and microchips: it's about giving people the tools to make their lives better, achieve their dreams and maximise their opportunities".
