The project “BEM” (Youth Europeans in the Village of Music) is a youth exchange project which aim to give learning opportunities to the young participants, thanks to not formal educazion.The main topic is music as a tool to stimulate teambuilding and immagination, to promote diversity and inter-cultural dialogue and to disseminate common values of freedom, tolerance and respect of human rights.BEM involves: - 3 European countries: Italy, Lithuania and Spain, - 4 organizations: Accademia Musicale Romana ONLUS; Escolania Nuestra Señora del Recuerdo; Associazione "MUSICA VITALE”; Municipality of Saracinesco,- 60 young participants.The Municipality of Saracinesco in Italy will be the hosting organization for the mobility program, which will take place from the 20th to the 28th of October 2016. The program will include not formal learning activities, as well as social and outdoor activities. The partners by the end of the project will stipulate a Memorandum of Understanding in order to continue their cooperation, in particular the aim is to establish an annual exchange programmes for youth regarding the music and the creative sector for rural areas. The main objectives are:- To share the music and musical culture of each other’s countries - To share European values- To stimulate new ideas on how music and intercultural exchange can stimulate innovation and create new opportunities for rural villages.
