In recent years, the most advanced countries in the world have systematically invested in the development of their economies, driven by knowledge in innovation and entrepreneurship, something which our country has not done. Today however, Greece must aim at this model, medium to long- term, focusing on innovative productive activities with high added value.The photochromic therapy is a new scientific treatment that uses the light energy of colors to stimulate the skin and organs of the body, in order to strengthen the system and treat various diseases.So, we designed, in collaboration with the partner organization, two trainees mobility flows of VET Learners, in the field of disease prevention and alternative medical and nursing care, with the beneficial contribution of colors, using cutting edge technology at suitable patient care areas. In-service training will help trainees to understand the concepts of holistic medicine and implementation of innovative actions in the field of prevention and disease treatment. In the above context it will be made possible to understand the concept of entrepreneurship and in particular of the adoption of innovative practices in the nursing care area by creating work groups made up of specialized:1. Nursing staff with broader knowledge in alternative medicine and its beneficial properties.2. IT staff for the design of information systems and the development of communication networks with on line database updating, which is essential both for selecting the appropriate treatment based on the case history of the patient and the possible symptoms of the impending disease.3. Technicians for the installation, maintenance and support of the entire system.The content of the in-service training for both flows includes:1. Seminars, visits and training in workplaces and medical laboratories of color treatment application.2. Study of action plans by specialty (Nursing- Informatics-Electro logy) into alternative treatments.3. Study of informal and formal education methods in vocational schools in Barcelona and the Nursing department of Universitat de Barcelona.4. Study of the organization and activities of laser equipped prevention & treatment rooms, regarding the theory and application techniques of color therapy, network design, management and update of digital data necessary for choosing the appropriate treatment, based on information processing.For the planned duration of the mobility, supervision during training sessions will be undertaken by both the coordinator and the accompanying teachers in the students’ program.Specifically:• Activities attendance calendar keeping.• Preparation of daily activities report.• Participants task assignment (photographing, videotaping).• Distribution of the questionnaire and program evaluation at the end of the program.• Creation of a folder with the educational and photographic material.The objectives of the mobility project are to meet the needs of the participating students and relate to:• broadening of the horizons of the students regarding innovative methods for the utilization of technology in revolutionary practices in nursing, by studying patterns of action and cooperation models between vocational school and health service businesses.• improving their knowledge on modern curricula through seminars, visits to workplaces, laboratories and youth training centers.• acquaintance and familiarity with the structure of the vocational education system of the host country, through the study of both formal and informal education methods.Possible long-term benefits:. training of students in innovative systems, institutions and practices of vocational education. • connection of vocational school with businesses that operate in the field of holistic medicine.• counseling in vocational school and linking to the labor market.• improving skills and qualifications, providing certification and updating.• expanding of the educational horizons of students.• forming the European Qualifications Framework.• the assertion of high specialization jobs and better pay, both in Greece and in the European Union.• improvement of the resume of the participants with an additional asset (Europass)• The acquisition of unique experiences, of broader awareness, the cultivation of a European consciousness, confidence strengthening and ultimately their development as human beings.
