The overall objective of the Project is an intensive cooperation between the Hungarian Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county and the Ukrainian „Zakarpatska” region, in an economically, socially and environmentally sustainable way.The specific objective of the Project is the education of people living in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county and in „Zakarpatska” region who do not possess English and computer skills (competences necessary for employment) and are at a disadvantage due to the lack of such skills.Main activities:• Development of a methodology and curriculum for adult education, and the development of a web-based software designed for distance learning;• Professional development of instructors in the Ukraine in the field of methodology for adult education; Education of disadvantaged people in the fields of English and information technology; Distance education through a web-based software Achievements: • A methodology, a curriculum and a web-based, software for distance learning that are designed for economical demands; • One hundred individuals educated in English and in information technology; Two hundred individuals educated in English and in information technology, through a web-based software designed for distance learning; Ten Ukrainian instructors trained in methodology for adult education;A long-term, continuous, sustainable cooperation between Hungary and the Ukraine; Updating the skills of people who do not possess competences necessary for employment and are at a disadvantage due to the lack of such skills; Closing the gap between the educational supply and the economical demands;
