24 youngsters and 4 facilitators participated in Orosháza at the youth exchange called HUN-ICE Sport in social inclusion & non formal education. The project's topic was related to education through sport and sport as a tool for social inclusion of young people. The involved partners have never implemented a project before within Erasmus+ program. The youth exchange was between 7-16. September 2015.
Project aims were to discuss altogether how efficient tool is the sport when organising a program by our organisations and to exchange experiences too. Also we focused to show it in practice through a Hungarian good example, by participating in the Extreme Day.
As a result of the youth exchange we have organised a public exhibition in Orosháza together with the participants. At the exhibition we have showed pictures, videos which were presenting sport as an efficient tool for social inclusion. The exhibition was interactive and intercultural event too since there was chance to meet and get to know better Icelandic participants, and their culture too. Participant's parents attended the event as well as friends and students of the participants, so Icelandic participants had chance to meet with more local people. Thanks to the project as an effect an international cooperation has set up in which participants become more awareness about the importance of sport as a tool which can give them a new perspective in future when organising programs. During the youth exchange and after as well we discussed to continue the cooperation. In the future the Icelandic partner would like to implement a project in Iceland.
