Galician territory needs young european citizens that they can move themshelves in a unique market and contribute not only to a more open and integrated labour market, but also to a balanced professional training and in direct contact with the labour and business world in Europe.
Escuela de Hostelería Álvaro Cunqueiro, belonging to Asociación Provincial de Empresarios de Hostelería de A Coruña, promotes this project to continuing the 2011 mobility project "Hosteleros de Europa" as well as to test the ECVET validation and recognition instruments produced in the Transfer of Innovation project: LEarning Outcome-oriented quality mobility placements to gain transparency and recognition of qualifications within the Tourism and Catering field - LEOqualTC of whcih the School il core partner.
The training profiles that this proyect is addressed to are:
-Cooking
-Basic operations for cookers, including basic operations for pastry chefs
-Basic operations for bars and restaurants
-Restaurant Services
-Bar and Coffee Services
-Reception, events, communication and marketing.
- Roomaid.
Training objetives to achive:
- Promoting competitiveness to the participants in the labour market, or stimulate their interests with the aim of doing a superior education course in those sectors. Mobilities enrich the participants technical competences doing them more competitives and capables of working in a global market.
- Increasing the knowledge of foreign languages which is essential in the touristic field.
For those objectives evaluation and for work orientation when participants come back, the job cabinets placed in the school will be available for them.
Moving the european mobility closer to the students or people doing occupational training, motivates the creation of a european citizenship and a competitive and innovative economic network, as well as helping to fight the unemployment on the sector.
The project has the main objective of reach that young hostelry galician professionals observe and experiment the job market in an international environment, with the aim of training or orientation for the professional future.
The hosting countries are Malta, Italy, UK, The Netherlands and Portugal with a total number of 18 mobilitites, 2 months each.
The intermediary and hosting partners are entities that collaborated previously in the last proyect LdV-PLM and in the TOI that Hostelry School is running nowadays.
This proyect will go on from June 2015 to June 2017, with a duration of 24 months.
