The project is a joint initiative of four partners, the Reformed Church from Csengersima (Hungary), the Reformed Churched from Tamaseni (Satu Mare County), the local government of Csengersima (Hungary) and the Interaction 2050 Association (Satu Mare). The partners have identified similar interests in developing ecological education infrastructure on the two sides of the HU-RO border and planned a long-term working relationship.The aim of the project is to promote environmental education through the joint development of open-air schools, based on professional programs. The main benefit of the project is the innovative way to address ecological educational development necessities of youth, by creating powerful new entities, on each side of the border, with daily and effective links between them.The direct target group of the project is the following: project partners; young pupils, teachers, environmental experts from Csenger and Satu Mare county (about 150); educational institutions (about 25); non-profit ecological and training organizations.The indirect target group of the project consists of: educational institutions participating in future ecological programmes, (about 500); public institutions acting in the field of environment and nature protection, members of the church congregation from both counties (about 5000); companies involved in project implementation (constructors, service providers), employees of the new establishments, as well as the population living in the target area (about 800.000). Expected Results: Project results: 2 ecological infrastructures constructed; 1 study path created; 2 ecological events organized; 32 students participating in the joint student camp; 80 teachers participating in the joint ecological training; 2000 promotional brochures edited; 2 marketing campaigns organized in educational institutions; 10 ecological institutions involved in cross-border cooperation; 100 organisations using joint infrastructure.
