The ENS Cachan, public higher education institution's mission is to train teachers and researchers. Its 12 academic departments and 13 research units are involved in three major fields (basic sciences, engineering sciences, social sciences). The curriculum in search and by research are built to drive the ENS civil servant students and regular students to doctoral studies through the requirement to obtain a research-oriented master. The ENS Cachan has built an international relation strategy with universities and institutions on the five continents and has established 59 Erasmus agreements with 47 institutions in 18 countries. This mission requires the selectivity, diversification and internationalisation of pre-PhD et PhD cursus. Excellence and multidisciplinarity of research conducted in our institution and the development of national, regional and international research partnerships to the highest level are important elements of the strategy of the ENS Cachan. It should be noted that ENS Cachan has become Ecole normale supérieure Paris-Saclay since September 2016,1rst. Our institution is one of the 19 founding members of the University Paris Saclay which gathers 11 000 reasearchers and 60 000 students. The university Paris-Saclay offers a diversity of approximately 50 masters. A common doctoral department coordinates the 20 disciplinary and thematic doctoral schools.
