As the last year, the students and staff mobility still an axis of training ASKORIA has valued for a long time. It is a part of the strategic axes of the institution which still convinced of the enrichment that a mobility brings to the students but also to the whole staff (teaching staff and staff of the institution).
As the last year, the mobility have been put in place by the way of individual projects (short or long-lasting traineeships for students mobility, staff mobility for training or teaching) or by the way of study trips. The weeks spent in mobility are an integral part of the process of training and, in the same way as the traineeships carried out in France, they allow to validate some of the skills indicated in the training repository of the prepared diplomas of State.
In 2015-2016, 12 students benefited from the Erasmus+ program. They were able to discover a culture different from theirs and approach groups in difficulty in a different cultural and social context. They were welcomed within various social organizations for a minimal duration of 15 weeks. They especially had an experience that strengthened their autonomy, their self-knowledge, adaptability and confidence in their abilities, essential skills to quality professional posture.
Note that 26 students conducted a similar experience through the Erasmus vocational education program (K102).
This report refers to student mobility management. It is important to note that Askoria also promoted the teachers mobility. Those were supported by the Brittany consortium, BMOUVE. 4 mobility were supported by the higher education program (3 incoming teaching mobility and 1 outbound mobility). 7 mobility were carried out by the Erasmus contract vocational program (K102).
