Higher education student and staff mobility project

This project that includes the Erasmus+ KA103 program , whose key action is related to the mobility of students and staff in higher education, has pretended to carry out the objectives contemplated for the actions of higher education, especially: - Improve the level of key competencies and skills, with particular regard to their relevance for the labour market. - Enhance transnational cooperation between education and training institutions among partner countries. - Improve teaching and learning of languages and promote broad linguistic diversity of the EU and intercultural awareness. This project has involved two students, five teachers and a guest company personnel, as a result of new contacts made. The students have been two women between 20 and 25 years old. One had a mobility in Ireland and other mobility made in Norway. Both in nursery schools, because they studied early childhood education. Regarding to the staff participation, five teachers participated in the program. The professional profiles were related to early childhood education and social integration. As a result of this participation, we could invite a social worker from Norway to share with our institution its working procedures and to strengthen the relationship. This officer Norway is ready to welcome our trainees. The actions carried out during the project in relation to students have been: - Meetings and briefings on publicity, guidance and information of the Erasmus+ program. - Development of a protocol selection . - Selection of students interested in participating in the program. - Personalized information steps to take for participation in the program of those selected students. - Preparation of appropriate documentation. - Tracking student during his stay abroad. - Personal interview to assess the experience gained. The actions carried out during the project in relation to staff have been : - Meetings and briefings on publicity, guidance and information of the Erasmus+ program. - Development of a protocol selection. - Selection of staff interested in participating in the program. - Preparation of appropriate documentation. - Advice to staff on the process to follow to carry out their mobility. - Personal interview to assess the experience. - Information to higher education staff about the experience made . The mobilities raised for students and staff have been made with institutions directly related to the professional skills of the professional profiles specified in the curriculum. In this regard, include the following: - It has promoted, through briefings and dissemination of the project, an awareness among teachers about the need to compare the procedures and working methods for cooperation and joint improvement interventions by educational institutions to offer better quality teaching professionals and thus get better prepared for the labor market. - It has increased the participation of teachers in mobility actions raised for achieving these objectives. -They have been made new contacts and collaborations with European companies to facilitate student mobility. - It is becoming increasingly aware students of the importance of openness at European level, boosting their motivation to participate in the program's actions, improving language skills and promoting more active participation in society and in the labor market. The impact achieved and the expected long-term benefits are related to: - The Erasmus+ program is strongest among staff and students in higher education. - We hope there is greater collaboration with the new contacts made. - Greater student participation in the program. - Improving language skills of both staff and students. - Improving work procedures related to professional profiles.
