Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Erasmus project that finished now its part of the internationalization policy of the Institute Polytechnic of Bragança (IPB). It's our desire that most part of the students currently studying at IPB can take part in the Erasmus programme mobility. IPB covers all the areas that we teach so all the students have the same opportunity to have a study period mobility. Every year we disseminate the mobility projects among the academic community in order to explain all the parts of the mobility, rules of the programme and all the relevant information. This actions are specially target to the students of the first years, taking in consideration the equity and inclusion, so they can have time to prepare their mobility. The project itself takes in consideration the challenges that Europe is facing, the development of social skills specially in young people, will develop their ability to participate actively in society. With the monitoring of the all cycle of the project we can assure, specially in students that they are willing to participate and more aware on Europe society. In order to fulfill all those goals we assure through our quality programme a fully clear and transparent recognition and validation of programmes abroad. Fallowing the policy of the European Commission and knowing the fact that multilingualism is vital part of mobility projects we put a huge effort on the preparation of the participants with free courses at our languages centers before the departure, this will not just prepare them for the mobility in partner institutions but also will assure more competences demanded by the labour market. The dissemination of results is really important in the mobility programes, this way we have the opportunity to clearly communicate the outcomes achieved in the project.
