Context and previous projects Cristóbal de Monroy Secondary High and Vocational Training School, has been promoting mobility of our students for traineeships for several years. For instance, last academic year 2013/14 four or our students participated in Erasmus+ mobilities for students traineeships. Until last year we participated in these mobilities through Andalucía Government (Consortium). This is the first year we have an independent project. Objetives for student mobilities. Besides the objectives of any internship, the objectives of our student mobility for traineeships are: - Improve employment of our students. - Improve foreign linguistic skills of our students. - Learn procedures relating to their professional profile different from the ones they learn in local companies. - Improve their maturity. - Disseminate this personal and professional experience in our school. - Receive students from other schools to offer them traineeships in companies and exchange knowledge between these students and students from our school. Objectives for teacher mobilities. - Improve training in the corresponding professional profile. - Encourage partnerships with European institutions to promote common projects to improve our student education. - Improve the quality of our student mobility for traineeships. - Disseminate the results of the mobility between the teachers of the vocational training department. - Receive European School and Institution staff to improve the quality of our partnerships and promote cooperation projects. Participant number and profile Any High Vocational Training student that has approved all the subjects in school and therefore could start a traineeship can apply for this mobilities. In 2014/15 two TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS students have participated in these mobilities. Any High Education Teacher from our school can apply for this mobilities. In 2014/15 our Erasmus+ Tutor was selected to participate in this mobility; she is also teacher in the same professional family of the students selected for the mobilities. Description of the activities At the beginning of the project we published the mobilities in our web and in the local press. Afterwards, we carried out the selection process of both the students and the teacher interested in these mobilities. Together with our School and Institution partners we managed the search for companies for the student traineeships. The deputy principal of the school travelled to the city where the traineeships were going to take place to improve these internships and to reinforce our links with these companies/institutions and encourage other future projects. The ERASMUS+ tutor of our center also travelled to this city and visited a professional school getting in conctact with teachers and companies to develop possible future projects. Furthermore, she visited the companies where our students were conducting their traneeships. We have received studenst from another European school, we have selected companies for their traineeships and we provided them logistic and organizative support. Finally, the three European students visited our school and participated in round tables with our students. Results, impact and long term benefits The selected students carried out the traineeships succesfully. One of these two students was hired by the company where he did the traineeship. We have relaunched the twinning between our city and Stuhr through this project. In the last years there was no activity in this twinning but our center and the Stuhr local government are cooperating to continue with traineeships for students of our city, as well as secondary and high school student exchange. Our student mobilities had impact in local press in both cities, Alcalá de Guadaíra and Stuhr. In this cooperation the mobility of our deputy principal and our Erasmus+ tutor were very important. European student we have received in our school participated in round tables to exchange experiences and knowledge. Benefits in foreing languages was also very important both in our students and our teachers. Receiving students from European schools had also a very possitive impact in foreing language skills of all the students of the vocational trainning related degree.
