The overall objective of the project is to monitor and implement international mobility of Yasar University?s students, academicians and administrative staff under Erasmus+ Programme.
It involves the activities of managing the student mobility, student placement, staff teaching mobility and staff training mobility realized with the support of the grants allocated through Erasmus+ Programme.
In scope of the programme, Ya?ar University has established partnerships with 205 higher education institutions from 26 European countries.
Total number of beneficiaries for 2014-2015 academic year is 110. Break down of mobility types is as follows:
Student Mobility for Studies:53
Student Mobility for Traineeships: 29
Staff Mobility: 28
EU Center employs following personnel for implementing Erasmus+ Programme: EU Center director, EU Center deputy director, three EU experts, one EU education programmes officer, 33 Erasmus department coordinators and 2 student affairs experts.
The management of the programme involves the following stages:
? Promoting and announcing Erasmus Programme opportunities through various tools such as info-days, seminars, media, and website.
? Training of the new staff, assigning academic coordinators and disseminating the consultancy and support activities in each study programme as well.
? Signing new institutional Erasmus agreements, review of existing agreements and announcement of the updated partner lists to the applicants.
? Constructing partnerships with various enterprises and companies for the placement of students.
? Training of Erasmus department coordinators, student affairs department and faculty administration about Erasmus programme rules
? Evaluating the performance of each study programme in terms of their previous mobility numbers and agreements, assessing the performance indicators to be included in staff mobility selection criteria; Selection of staff members for teaching and training mobility through a transparent selection procedure
? Preparing, monitoring and reporting Erasmus grant scheme; Sustaining the smooth flow of communication with students, staff and also Turkish National Agency
? Ensuring the successful completion of Erasmus mobility activities.
