This Consortium Erasmus + is composed of six sending schools hold an Erasmus + Charter , and flown by DAREIC ( Academic Delegation for European and International Relations and Cooperation ) and GIP ( Public Interest Group ) " Formation throughout life " of the Academy of Nancy- Metz. It allowed mobilities of two-month as internship in companies for 70 students from Higher Education sectors (Commerce International, Assistant Manager ,Hotel, Restaurant and Catering).
It has the main objectives of the Erasmus + Program , including increasing the number of graduates of higher education in the EU who have carried abroad a period of study or training program, as well as the european objectives for modernization and internationalization of higher education with increasing the skill levels, improving the quality and relevance of higher education through enhanced transnational cooperation and increased links between higher education and companies.
Contractual and financial management was handled by the GIP in collaboration with the DAREIC , which provided educational and managerial aspects. Overall evaluation of the project and the preparation of interim and final reports was made by the DAREIC, in connection with the sending schools, which has acquired expertise in managing consortia,.
In each school, teachers ensure the preparation and implementation of mobility. A joint work plan will be proposed by the steering committee of the project : establishing a schedule of activities, common tools (register of partner companies, contractual documents, monitoring, management and training tools, documentation to facilitate the logistics of mobility ... ).
The main impacts of the consortium are in continuity with previous consortia projects controlled by the DAREIC :
- Create a dynamic within the participating schools and increase the demand for mobility in Europe for students of sectors of higher technicians, through enhanced to support their implementation.
- Promote sustainable links between higher education institutions and companies and allow quality training of students, open to Europe and its major challenges in training and qualification.
- Allow a better adaptability in the labor and ultimately a better employability of students .
For the regional level, on one hand, all the civic, social, linguistic and intercultural skills of the students which will have benefited from these mobilities will establish a main advantage to breathe a new economic dynamics in Lorraine and on the other hand, partnerships can register a reciprocity which will allow the foreign students to discover the economic trump cards of the Lorraine, situated ideally at the heart of Europe.
