Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Mar 17, 2014, End date: Mar 17, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Bart?n University has been able to send 69 students and 7 staff members for both semesters to 13 universities from 10 countries whereas our university had bilateral agreements with 20 universities from 10 countries. For the last year, our Erasmus+ office had intended to increase the number of our outbound students and the receiving institutions ranging to various countries. On the other hand, the university encouraged the students to study abroad rather than the staff. Universytet Lodzki is our top partner university, where more than a quarter of total population of our outbound students have been welcomed. Univerzita Jana Evangelisty Purkine V Usti Nad Labem comes the second as a partner which receives the greatest number of outbound students. We have tried to have our students benefit from the grant allocated to our staff mobilities and HO. Approximately 150% more than proposed students were granted and each student were paid at least 80% of their total grants after their mobility durations were calculated. Although our objective was to provide more students to mobilize via studies across Europe, the real objective ought to have been to nominate the outstanding students no matter how many/less the students we were able to send. The impact of this project on our institution was that we need to be more selective and focus on not the number of mobilities but the quality of outbound students to be nominated. Still, we could say that the vast majority of our students were able to pass their exams and earned ECTS credits.
