Our centre is an important referent for professional training in several groups of educational families, Administration and Management, Electricity and Electronics, Catering and Tourism, Health Services,Social cultural Services to the Community, Transport and Srvicin of vehicles and also in some others training courses very important in the province.
We try to give a teaching of quality, modern with the idea of relationship with other countries of Europe all these reasons it was necessary to take part in theProject E+ in order to share and spread the main priciples of the Carta Erasmus not only in the educative comunity but also in the economic and social areas.
All our students of Higher Education know about the features of the mobilitiesE , criteria of selection, financing, linguistic background, rights and duties, taking into account transparency and fair equality. Most of the applicants are students who demand mobility for their training as a part of their trainnin curricula. We have had applications from newly graduates who finally did not do it either because they are following other university studies, for economic reasons or because they have entered the work world after their degree. Our task in these 24 months has been to make known the possibilities of mobility for a newly graduated, an idea that we will try to put in practice in the future.
The beginning has been difficult specially regarding the search of partners, our weak point, and the working of the project due to the little time we, the coordinators, can give to this task which we share with our teaching activities. Little by little we have succeeded in awakening the interest in E of our students and the interest and motivation to take part in the project E are spreading. At the same time teachers are getting more interested in the evaluation of applications and in the analysis of the importance of the project and its benefits.
All our mobilities have taken place in training in firms while the students were attending their activities in our centre.
We have had mobilities in nearly all our upper degrees in High Education:, Administration and Finance, Industrial Automatation and Robotics, Children Education or Pre-Primary Education, Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory , except Anatomical Pathology and Cytology. The experience has been very positive for the students.
Our students have carried out their training in private as well as public institutions. They have been well considered for their training and for their positive actitude. All of them have improved their linguistic competence and are conscious of the importance of languages.
We must underline the effect in our centre. When our students come back they share with their fellows the experience and thoughts and make other students, from other forms, to get interested in applying for mobility E+ . The economic crisis we are having now in Spain is a limitation in some cases. With adult students who have begun a training, family charges can be a problem too, but in any case there is more interest and demand.
To share and make known our activities we use information boards, in the main hall, our web, classrooms and teachers rooms. We publish notes in digital press, radio and we have talks in adult centres of formation. Teachers take part in this interchange of experiences as an integrating possibility of knowledge, experiences and opportunities and as a project in which everybody is important .
Every year we are enlarging our projects E+ not only in Vocational Education and Training but we try to interest other educational areas in the principles of E+ with the idea of bringing forward this experience.
