As this was a year of testing the new Erasmus+ program, we have to say we are quite satisfied with the results of our project. We managed to develop an enhanced interest in mobility activities within our teaching staff and students. We had a large number of student applicants compared to the previous years; unfortunately, we have also had a very large number of students not following through or giving up on their initial application. According to the students, this situation was mainly caused by financial difficulties although we also do not discard the necessity of more information about the program and host countries. We plan to start offering more intensive orientation programs to outbound students, in the same way we prepare incoming students. We think that this was the area where our project was more successful. We now offer a consolidated orientation program for incoming students, starting with an online language and culture course they have access when accepted and following an onsite two week intensive course geared at social and integration activities. We are also very optimistic about the results of outbound teaching mobility since it allowed for a heightened conscious on the importance of these activities for the internationalization of the institution and the development of stronger collaboration channels with our partners.
