Moray College UHI have had 11 members of staff out on mobility in the past year which included support staff (7) and teaching staff (4). The background for all of the training/teaching was sharing of best practice, knowledge transfer, increased skills and improving cultural awareness and language skills. Enhancing partnership development with a view to increasing incoming student mobility and raising the profile of what is on offer at Moray College and surrounding area are key objectives. Activities undertaken included: fieldtrips, meeting researchers, delivering classes in English, exchanging ideas/methodology and materials, cultural debates, library workshops, attending presentations, learning language, international fair, seminars, workshops on internships and employability and cultural highlights. Results/impact: all of the staff returned enthused and eager to put new ideas into practice. This has happened in class, at seminars and forums, employability events and also dissemination at our own Erasmus staff training week where we welcomed colleagues from Spain, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland.
