A total of seven staff and six student mobilities took place. Mobilities have taken place by teaching staff to Portugal, Denmark, Finland and Germany by staff from our Occupational Therapy, Art Therapy, Arts, Festival and Cultural Management and Business Management programmes. The mobility has allowed staff to share their expertise with our partners, learn from our partners and a couple of mobilities allowed staff to also visit students whilst on their exchanges. Staff on mobility talk about the fact that visiting partners allows them to build upon academic relationships and also find it rewarding visiting students on exchange and seeing them flourish in a new environment. Our mobile students visited Portugal, Germany and the Netherlands from Occupational Therapy, Art Therapy and Business Management. We were pleased to be able to send our first Business Management Fast Track student on a mobility. Our Fast Track students complete a four year degree in three years so sending a student from out from this programme was a bit of a test to see if it would work. The student said that the exchange was extremely challenging but incredibly worthwhile and now that we have seen it is possible for a Fast Track student to successfully participate in an exchange we will further of this opportunity. Students on exchange mention that an exchange gives them the opportunity to experience new ways of learning, expands their skills and therefore feel it makes them more employable.
