Mobility via Erasmus+ Programme is important and, after the experience with the previous program, also popular activity in the field of international cooperation, which interferes with the professional and personal live of students and staff of The Catholic University in Ružomberok (ab. CU). The aim of the project was to enable members of the academic community to become familiar with the education system abroad, to gain new working methods and inspiration, to learn about a new culture and way of life that would lead to greater expertise and higher acceptance of differences. The project was an investment in human capital in the form of teaching mobility, which allowed 93 teachers to travel abroad. It made possible to participate on training at partner universities and at universities, with which we have not worked before. Training was completed by 38 people (mostly administrative staff). Students preferred this programme. Mobility for studies held 88 students of the university. Mobility for placement realized 62 people, graduates were also among them. A job has been offered to some of them at the end of their Erasmus training. The project enabled students to take part in courses that improved their knowledge and allowed them to gain practical experience in areas other than their primary branch of study. Staff mobility contributed to the professional development of participants and through various activities has supported home university, which was better anchored in national and foreign higher education. Trainings and educational events inspired by other countries were organized at CU. Incoming colleagues have ensured work in an international environment and have enabled students and staff, who for various reasons were unable to travel abroad, contact with other educational systems. Individual mobility helped to find reliable partners for future projects. In several cases, the mobility via the Erasmus+ Programme was the basis for further student´s mobility and impulse for employees to participate in international projects.
