In this context, the Coordinating Institution has already proceeded in the organization in the partner institutions, of information and dissemination meetings regarding the opportunities of practical placement in Universities and Companies abroad in the framework Erasmus Programme +/Placement. In particular, TEI of Athens’ Consortium has organized a successful conference in TEI of Central Macedonia, University and TEI of Western Macedonia as well. In parallel, various meetings with the students and info days are going to be held in the rest institutions of our Consortium until the end of the year. The duties and the competences of the Partners are described as follows : - to inform the students about the opportunities offered through the realization of training mobility organized by the Consortium of TEI of Athens and the announcement of the placements offered by the Consortium twice a year to students and the departmental coordinators - the respect deadlines and evaluation procedure - the reliability control - edit a common Training Agreement in accordance to curriculum, to learning outcomes, supervision and evaluation of traineeship, the recognition of placement with ECTS awards agreed in the Learning Agreement The cooperation and communication model among the partners of Consortium and the receiving organizations it is described in details in the Unit 4.1 The International Office of TEI of Athens (Coordinator of Consortium) has create cooperation with receiving organizations through years, listed on our website. The list contains the firm, the website and the e-mail. Already, they are 260 receiving institutions, in a list continuously enriched. We provide the students with a cover letter model. Our students can find useful links for traineeship offers. Contrary to the mobility for studies, for the practical placement there are not signed bilateral agreements that define the travel destinations. Therefore, the students on their own have to investigate and find the host institution , to ensure their acceptance for the period of their placement interest . This occurs not only for practical reasons, but also because this is useful and contributes to the students socialization and the acquisition of communication skills. In addition, the International Office is in contact with the partner institutions for the student mobility , in order to search for possible list with offered jobs after the evaluation of the partner institutions for the practical placement of the students. The data collection process is in progress and upon it’s completion, the international office will be in contact with these working bodies , so those who agree, to accept the students of our Consortium for their practical placement. We appreciate that this action will be completed until the end of 2016.
