Hochschule Fresenius mainly supports traineeships in all faculties. One study course in the Chemistry & Biology department requires a compulsory traineeship abroad.
Professors and lecturers of all faculties maintain the contacts to the cooperation partners abroad and endeavor to expand the network constantly.
It is understood and guaranteed that every traineeship is accompanied by a professor or lecturer.
Hochschule Fresenius fully recognizes all achievements obtained abroad during the compulsory traineeships in the form of ECTS.
During the project 2013/2015 we have been able to support all applicants from all faculties.
One of our objectives is to support the practical experience abroad and hence the acquisition of technical, social and linguistic competences. Furthermore we intensively try to increase the number of students for a semester abroad.
Since academic performance is one selection criteria, the students motivation increases.
Participants traineeship in total 63, allocated to the study courses Physio- and Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Osteopathy, Applied Chemistry, Fashion and Design and the department of Economics and Media.
One participant of the department Fashion and Design was supported in a semester abroad.
Regularly the International Office staff meets the contact persons for foreign inquiries from all study courses for exchange of information.
Introductory events are offered in all study courses and the students are invited to personal consultations.
Students can find all ERASMUS+ information in the internal intranet as well as on the homepage. Experience reports from other students can also be found there.
Furthermore Hochschule Fresenius regularly offers basic and advanced language courses in different languages.
The final meetings with the returning students show further development of technical, linguistic, cultural, personal and social competences.
Through the participation in the ERASMUS+ program we increase the attractiveness of the study courses.
