UAS Velika Gorica was third year in the project and still trying to get students and staff to participate. Since UAS Velika Gorica had Developing strategy from 2010-2015 not much about internationalization was mentioned. More focus was given on ESG standards for Quality which mention internationalization but not in a great extent. Students and staff were still skeptic about going abroad which we battled with INFO days, presentation, brochures, etc. Objectives were to increase mobility of students and staff but were not met until last year when UAS Velika Gorica had more applications than approved places. Also it was hard to get Head of studies to actively participate and encourage students for mobility. In the mid of project UAS Velika Gorica started publishing student magazine in which every outgoing and incoming mobility is presented and accompanied with photos. Mobility is presented as article or interview. This activity helped a lot to push information to wider number of students, gave them more information about Erasmus programme and produced more interest. Also all mobilities are put on website in form of article with photos. Six student that went on SMP mobility were satisfied with two that were offered a job and accepted it. One student that was on SMS mobility applied again SMS mobility and in this year for SMP. Students that went on internship are from optometry and aviation maintenance study programmes. Effort is put to make other students from other study fields interested and applying and in this year this is showing with variety of applications. Staff mobility for teaching was successful and brought teachers and students from Portugal to our Crisis management days conference as active participants and also three students for internship. Also both of staff members are also in Quality department and beside teaching experience they gathered knowledge about quality standards at receiving institution. Teaching staff from our partner institutions are regular active participants at Optometry Conference of Central and South-Eastern Europe that is organized by UAS Velika Gorica every two years. Staff mobility for training was also successful with new ideas for ICT systems for application process, mobility preparation and tracking, improvement of Erasmus programme at home institution, new ideas for promoting Erasmus exchange, internationalization at home and possible participating in crisis management faculties association that is planned to be achieved in next academic year. Long term benefits will be integrated and seen trough few years because UAS Velika Gorica made new developing strategy for 2016-2020 in which internationalization is a big part of new developing plans. UAS developing plan is consisting of establishing at least three study programmes in English (Crisis management, Optometry and Aviation maintenance). Aviation maintenance program is offered in English to foreign students with cooperation with Brookfield Aviation International Ltd. and Croatia Airlines. At the moment there are six active students from Africa and Europe enrolled in programme. New website was made with section for international cooperation which is much more easy to navigate and has more relevant information in one place. All international news are published in international cooperation section as well as on main website page. INFO days are organized every year for new students with Erasmus presentations as well as booth in which students can talk all day to Erasmus coordinator. The event takes place in October and lasts all day.
