Mobility project for higher education students and staff with programme countries. The number of outgoing students from Haaga-Helia to partner institutions during the project period was 288. The numer of outgoing students for work placement during the project period was 53 The number of outgoing teachers from from Haaga-Helia to partner institutions during the project period was 48. The number of outgoing staff member from from Haaga-Helia to partner institutions during the project period was 13. Haaga-Helia has a strong focus on internationalisation in its strategy and student, teacher and staff mobility plays an important role in implementing the strategy. Majority of Haaga-Helia´s mobilities take place with European partners and through Erasmus programme. All students are encouraged and have the opportunity to study or work abroad during their studies. The teacher mobility and staff mobility offer good opportunities for knowledge development and networking with colleagues and peers in Europe and we can see that teacher and staff exchanges enhance the development of other forms of international cooperation, e.g. research and development. Mobilities are important for the personal and personal development of the mobile persons but also serve meeting the institutional goal to deliver education of high quality.
