As for the background, TTK UAS has participated in the Erasmus programme since 1999. The priority has always been student mobility. Over the years we have balanced the number of incoming and outgoing students. Employers also highly value exchange period abroad, since it increases the employees' competence, skills and improves their future job prospects. Faculties are interested in the learning, teaching and training possibilities abroad as it increases the international competence of students and staff, making them more competitive in the work market.
The number of mobilities: student mobility for traineeships 25, student mobility for studies 26, staff mobility for teaching 19 and staff mobility for training 8.
Due to the fact that almost 15% of TTK UAS ´s curricula is practice, almost half of the outgoing students were abroad for their practice in foreign companies.
The attained results and impact include: increased student mobility (2,5% of student body), increased international courses (10% of curricula), stronger partnerships (reviewed Bilateral Agreements) with European universities, increased international competitiveness of alumni.
In the upcoming years TTK UAS will be faced with a significant decrease in the number of students. In managing these changes, we must be ready to put even greater efforts into internationalization, as this may be the key aspect to solve decreasing student numbers. The continuous participation in the Erasmus+ programme will be a great opportunity for TTK UAS for attracting international students.
