Jacobs University Bremen is highly commited to participation in the European Erasmus+ project. However Jacobs University's Erasmus+ partner network is rather small (10 universities) as well as student mobility numbers (20). This is due to the fact that Jacobs University is a small institution (ca. 1200 students) with highly diverse student population (75% of students come from more than 100 nations). Main objective of Erasmus+ project is therefore to enable academically strong students to study at our European partners as exchange students or research interns. The partners and destination countries are viewed by Jacobs students as potential destinations for graduate school. The mobility numbers aimed at in Erasmus+2014 project were successfully achieved.
