Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2014,
End date: Sep 30, 2015
PROJECT
FINISHED
The Erasmus+ mobility project, developped by the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" Police Academy in the academic year 2014-2015, was initiated following the past mobility projects finished by the Academy since 2009-2010 and in the context of obtaining the extended Erasmus+ Charter for the period 2014-2020.
The recently finalized project had the following main objectives: 1) the increase of the number of the project beneficiaries, especially the students from the faculties, which weren't involved up to now; 2) the increase of the number of the Erasmus institutional partners (especially for those faculties of the Academy missing the Erasmus programme); 3) the increase of the quality of the mobilities.
The beneficiaries of the mobilities in 2015 were 4 students from 2nd year of study (2 boys and 2 girls) and an associate professor (female, recently employed), all from the faculty of Archival Sciences. There were no requests for participation coming from the other faculties of the Academy.
The undertaken activities were the following:
- dissemination of the mobility opportunities and requirements offered by the project to all potential beneficiaries from the Academy;
- selection of the beneficiaries;
- informing the international partners regarding the successful candidates and establishing the content of the mobility programme (i.e. Learning Agreements, Teaching programme, etc.);
- assisting the beneficiaries in successfully completing the registration procedures at the host universities;
- validation of the financial contracts and payment of the grants;
- accomplishment of the scheduled outgoing mobilities (summer semester);
- monitoring the mobilities;
- returning of the participants and completion of the post-mobility procedures, including the feed-back reports;
The main results were the following:
- the increase of the students? number (from 2 to 4, representing 8% of the total number from the Faculty of the Archival Sciences);
- expanding the knowledge horizon of the Erasmus students;
- a highly positive feed-back of the participants, who disseminated the information to the other students;
- consolidating the partnerships with the host universities.
