Erasmus + provides opportunities for cooperation in an international context with the purpose to raise the skills and quality of the education. The Erasmus+ program will promote individual development and competences well as enhancing their skills and qualifications. Improved language skills, greater knowledge and awareness of other cultures and countries, participation in society and a sense of European citizenship are examples of the outcome through joining the Erasmus+ program.
To promote interest in exchanges, the International Office (NS) at BTH has held information meetings about both student and staff exchanges during the contract period. There has also been an inspiration meetings where students and staff have been spreading their experiences from studies, job shadowing etc. abroad. During the autumn term 2015 International Office organized an International Day where Erasmus students and other international students attended to show their cultures and give inspiration to go abroad.
