“Benedetto Marcello” Academy of music presents a keen pedagogical vocation for teaching to hand down the historical memory of music with special emphasis on the great tradition of musical performance and composition. The Academy of music is also keen on developing the new professional frameworks created by music. Said objectives are achieved by offering normal courses, by extending the offer to workshops, master classes and traineeships in musical institutions based both in Venice and in the territory, and through agreements with institutions that pursue the same goals. The Institution interacts intensively with other member AFAM institutions, by cooperating in high quality teaching and artistic initiatives, such as electro-acoustic music, through the joint organisation of important courses and events. In the context, as a background of the mobility project Erasmus, the focus has been and will be even more on the ability to create a system with the European Institutions that offer such high goals and targets possibility to cross young people to the world of work in the music industry and artistic. For these purposes have been encouraged international cooperation that aim to implement the assessment of claims, the innovative teaching and artistic production with the mobility flow of three teachers and three students and outgoing and six teachers and five incoming students. Has expanded the activities of international mobility is part of the Conservatory Project ARTS (Consortium Erasmus Traineeship - Art's Role in training for student) and the Consortium for the Conservatives (led Conservatory of Frosinone) project WWM (Working with Music). The WWM project will involve four graduates of the Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello in European institutions.
