The objective of the staff mobility training was to gain experience in judging at floristry competitions, understanding the 100-point judging system, as well as working with Florint technical committee. The 2 participants, teachers of floristry, frequently compete with their students at floristry and horticultural competitions. Due to that fact the participants wanted to understand the scoring system into the detail in order to become better mentors to their students as well as to enrich their personal qualifications and skills. The participants undertook the training at Fleurop-Interflora World Cup 2005 which took place in Berlin. There they were given the opportunity to observe the competitions, were given a tour through the whole competition area by a floristry judge and were able to discuss and analyse the tasks. The attained knowledge is priceless and enables both participants to understand the whole process of judging better and especially to become aware of the small, but important, trivialities.
