The Institute of Secondary School ?Fuentesnuevas? is a public centre depending on The Council of Education of the ?Junta de Castilla y León? in which those educations are given of an official nature. Among these educations, there are included five formative cycles of top degree: Advanced Vocational Training Laboratory of Analysis and Quality Control, Advanced Vocational Training Process and Quality in Food Industry Advanced Vocational Training Dietetics and Advanced Vocational Training Health Documentation and Advanced Vocational Training Integral Aesthetics and
Wellness).
The educational Spanish system meditates in the curriculum of the studies of vocational training, the obligation nature to realize a minimal period of practices in companies before obtaining the degree: The module of Formation in Centers of Work. The accomplishment and overcoming of this module is a necessary requirement to obtain the degree of Top Technician. The students of IES Fuentesnuevas have the opportunity to realize the above mentioned practices abroad to complete their academic education.
The IES Fuentesnuevas Erasmus began its experience inside the program in the year 2009 when Erasmus requested the first letter. In the year 2011, the Erasmus University Letter was granted and in 2011, the Extended Erasmus University letter allowed that both the students and the personnel could realize mobilities for formation or practices. Nowadays, the Erasmus of Top Education letter has been granted for the period 2014-2020.
From the course 2010-2011, eighteen students have realized mobilities to realize the module of Formation in Centres of Work in European countries, and nine teachers have realized mobilities for formation, to enrich with new experiences the educational practice.
The project developed by the IES Fuentesnuevas, includes the accomplishment of students mobilities for the accomplishment of practices and of personnel for the formation inside the European Space of Top Education. Concretely for this course 2014-2015, there were only granted 3 students mobilities for practices (SMP) and a mobility of personnel for formation (STT).
The aims raised in the project are:
? To promote the mobility
? To complete professional competences of the students and of the personnel of the centre.
? To develop social skills
? To promote the managerial spirit, the creative thought and innovative approaches inside the study plans, as the methodology used by the teachers
? To know the culture and the form of life of other European countries.
In addition, the mobilities of personnel for formation, allow to know other professional practices, already being in companies or in other educational centres, establishing this way as a frame for future collaborations.
During this course 2014-2015, five students of the IES Fuentesnuevas, have realized practices in European countries. All the students were dealing the CFGS Laboratory of Analysis and of Quality control and they realized FCT's module that completed their curriculum and allowed them to obtain the corresponding title. The companies that received the students have been: Lappeenranta University of Tecnology in Mikkeli (Finland), NOVOL SP. Z O.O. in Poznan (Poland), Catholic University of Portugal in Oporto (Portugal) and CHEMSERVICE SRL. CONTROLLI AND RICERCE in Milan (Italy), in the last one, two students have realized the practices, though the management of these two mobilities which have been done across a Consortium.
The companies of Finland and Portugal, collaborated this course for the first time.
One teacher has realized a mobility to the United Kingdom to learn new didactic technologies, to apply in the education of her matter; during this course 2015-2016, she will share her experience with the members of her department and will apply in her educational practice, the learnt technologies.
The actions implemented to reach the aims are:
? Information on the program Erasmus + between Students and Teachers
? Diffusion of the Summons
? Search of suitable institutions
? Signature of agreements of formation
? Insurance of the linguistic competence
? Follow-up of the mobilities
? Recognition of the period of practices or of formation
? Advice and support to the organization of the mobility.
The accomplishment of the mobilities, both of students and of personnel, contributes to the improvement of the personal and professional competition, offers an added value to the formation of the students, extends the possibilities of labour insertion of the student, contributes to the development of the innovation, promotes the transfer of knowledge and competitions, contributes to the acquisition of practical aptitudes and facilitates the transfer of good practices and experiences.
Finally, I would like to stand out that the student who realized the practices in Portugal, continues realizing practices inside the Program Erasmus + as a newly titled.
