Brera Academy of Fine Arts runs the Erasmus program since the end of the 90s. Our objectives are to structure a trans-international net between Academies and Universities in order to enrich the knowledge of the processes of teaching and learning and to allow as many students and teachers to take advantage of the great opportunities that Erasmus + offers. Our achievements concern definitely improving skills, referring to special profiles of students and teachers; the improvement of skills and adaptability in terms of modernization and international openness; the improvement of support activities for the promotion and consideration of cultural and social diversity; the improvement of foreign languages knowledge, certainly supported by OLS courses; and last but not laest the strengthening of relations with Partners and subsequent increase in the number of applications. Each year we implement more and more students study and training mobilities as well as teachers teaching and training mobilities; we provide support, coordination and direct assistance in the application stage, in the choice of destination and preparation of the application form for students and of the staff mobility application for teachers. We organize Italian language courses for incoming students, welcome meetings, and personal assistance for the choice of courses, for the participation in didactic activities and research of accommodation. We have structured an account in facebook for those who want to have direct information about the program and activities of the Academy and especially to achieve real-time all incoming messages with no regarding teaching in general. Through the facebook account we are able to put in contact students who already finished their erasmus experience with those who have to start it and organize a sort of tutoring programme for them. Our office is open every day from 10 to 17; we created a computer workstation with inetrnet and printer in the office and we provide person to person assistance for any welcoming or didactic aspect, to incoming and outgoing students and teachers. For this reason, we receive great appreciation from students and teachers, who transmit their positive impressions to colleagues and friends in Brera as well as at their Institution when they go back. Last but not least, during each academic year, we organize seminars and conferences to which all students are encouraged to participate as well as at the end of every term the Erasmus students' work exhibition, with the printing of the catalogue.
