Higher education student and staff mobility project

Since Paris-Sorbonne University is a university of Letters and Social sciences with many multidisciplinary courses including the study of a foreign language at least, studying abroad is essential and appears to be a natural obligation. Mobility abroad is a component of courses and it's compulsory in Philology Studies, Comparative Litterature and Communication. This is the reason why since the beginning of Erasmus program our university has signed more than 300 agreements with many partners taking part in the European program. About 1000 students are going and coming for a period of 3 to 12 months every year through Erasmus exchanges.Thanks to teaching staff and student mobility we have created common courses and joint diplomas (1 licence, 4 masters and 2 European doctorates with three countries) with German, Spanish, Italian and Polish universities. We are planning to create two other joint degrees with Slovaquia and Italy.
